We are back and Matt and Byron try to figure out what just happened and we have footage of the hubbub and hullabaloo.

Matt and Byron talk about the matches on tonight’s show.

Match Number Six: Bo Rotundo versus Lucky Cannon for the FCW Title with Guest Referee Brett ‘Still with a better push than my brother’ DiBiase After the match, Cannon with a kick to Rotundo’s head. Maxine comes into the ring and she kisses Lucky. Meanwhile at the announce table, Matt Martlaro is outraged while Byron Saxton is loving what is going on in the ring.

The rookies go to the ring while the pros take their spots on the stage.

Maryse reminds the rookies that the winner will be part on season six. The winner will get to choose their pro for next season.

Matt says that before the rookies can be the next big star, they will get to talk about themselves. Each rookie has 45 seconds to talk about themselves.

It is time for the Talk the Talk Challenge to find out why they should be the next breakout start.

Byron says that he has a two year old hamster and he likes Madden Football. He also says that did not get his wardrobe from the Lady Gaga School of Excellence. He thanks the WWE Universe for a second chance.

Matt asks Maryse for the right judge for tonight. Maryse suggests the WWE Universe.

The crowd votes on the promos and the winner is Titus O’Neill and he earns two Redemption Points. Regal questioned the fan voting.

Match Number Two: Lucky Cannon and Tyson Kidd versus Yoshi Tatsu and Byron Saxton
The pros start off and he blocks a kick from Kidd. Yoshi with chops to Kidd but Kidd with a sunset flip but Yoshi rolls through. Kidd tries for a backslide but Yoshi flips over and he kicks Kidd and Tyson goes to the ropes. Kidd with a forearm to Saxton on the apron and Cannon hits Yoshi while the referee deals with Saxton. Cannon tags in and he kicks Yoshi followed by a snap mare and elbow drop. Cannon with knees to the back.

Cannon with a side salto for a near fall. Cannon with a body scissors on Yoshi as he continues to work on the ribs. Yoshi gets out of the hold but Cannon with a knee to the back. Cannon slaps Yoshi in the head and then he slams Yoshi’s head into the mat. Cannon returns to the body scissors. Cannon with a forearm to the head. Yoshi and Cannon with clotheslines and both men are down.

Kidd and Saxton tag in and Saxton with punches to Kidd followed by a double thrust to the throat followed by clotheslines. Saxton with a modified bulldog and then he clotheslines Kidd to the apron. Kidd with a kick and Cannon makes the blind tag and Cannon with a modified Death Valley Driver for the three count.

It is time for the second challenge and since St. Patrick’s Day is coming, it is time for the Keg Carry. They need to do a lap around the ring and the winner gets two Redemption Points.

Byron Saxton is next and Yoshi gives him moral support but he falls .1 second short at 9.5 seconds. Videos

Matt Striker is in the ring and he welcomes us to Season Five of NXT. Matt introduces his co-host and it is Maryse. Maryse thank Matt and she says that this season is going to be very different. She introduce the people who are part of Season Five of NXT.

Byron Saxton’s pro is Yoshi Tatsu. Yoshi tells Byron that he was overconfident last season. He tells him to be himself and relax.

Maryse is walking in the back and Yoshi Tatsu says that she is going to be a very good host on NXT. Maryse likes the compliment but Byron stops Yoshi from saying anything else to Maryse. Byron says that he would love to work together and strategize for this season.

Maryse leaves and Yoshi tells Byron that his timing is no good.

We go to commercial and we will be back with the Boot Camp Obstacle Course.
We are back and Maryse tell us it time for first challenge of season. This challenge worth three redemption point.
Matt explains the course to the rookies. They must hop over a wall and then go through the army net. Then they will have to traverse a balance beam. Then they will have to do a slalom through flags. They must then pick up a loaded duffel bag across the finish line.

Byron Saxton goes third. His time is 26.5 seconds.

Byron Saxton reminds us that he was on Season Four. We see highlights from Season Four but then we see him being eliminated. He says that he made some mistakes and he will take nothing for granted this year. Byron says that they are a group of guys who have been there and done that before. They have also been eliminated. Byron says that he knows that it is his time. He says that he will win NXT. He says that this is his last chance. It might be cliché to say that, but it is his opportunity and his dream. Related
